Dr. Jim Guirges
Veterinarian, Medical Director
Dr. Jim Guirges has been serving clients and patients at Baseline Animal Hospital for over twenty years. He is a graduate of Missouri State University College-Veterinary Medicine-D.V.M.
With 30+ years of experience in Veterinary Medicine. he has been practicing Small Animal Medicine here for the last 25 years.

Dr. Yosef Elhamaky
Dr. Yosef Elhamaky is a California-licensed veterinarian with a strong background in emergency, critical care, specialty, and general veterinary medicine. He earned his veterinary degree in Egypt in 2006 and later relocated to the United States, where he became a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) while completing the requirements for his U.S. veterinary license.
During his career, Dr. Elhamaky gained extensive experience in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology, and soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery. After becoming licensed as a veterinarian, he received focused emergency and critical care mentorship from a board-certified criticalist and practiced emergency medicine at specialty hospitals in Southern California, including ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospitals and California Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE).
Angel Lopez
Hi my name is Angel Lopez. I’ve been in the field for 8 years starting from a NAVTA Certfied Veterinary Assistant that gained experience in canine, feline, exotic companion animals, reptiles and Avians to now being a Lead Registered Veterinary Technician.
I use the knowledge and practice of working with many different animals and doctors to become a dependable asset to provide the best care possible to your pets.
In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and going to a concert or soccer game.
Rachel
I’ve been in the veterinary field for 10 years. 🐾 I started my journey as a Kennel Attendant and shortly after became a Veterinary Assistant. Over the years, I’ve also had the opportunity to work as a Receptionist, allowing me to experience different sides of veterinary medicine and connect with both pets and their owners in so many meaningful ways.
From the beginning, I knew I had found something I truly loved. I’m passionate about caring for pets and supporting the owners who love them. 🐶🐱❤️ Every day has brought new experiences, lessons, and opportunities to grow, and I’m grateful for the career I’ve built over the past 10 years.
Outside of work, my most important roles are being a fiancée and a mom. ❤️ My family is my biggest motivation, and I’m proud to balance the career I love with the family I love even more.
And of course, I can’t forget my own fur babies! 🐾 I have my sweet cat Chepa, who is 14 years old and has been with me since the day she was born. I’m also lucky to have my 8-year-old cat, They are both the sweetest cats ever and have been such a special part of my life. ❤️🐱

For the past 3 years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the veterinary field and turning my love for animals into something I’m truly passionate about. When I’m not caring for animals at work, I’m usually spending my days off in the saddle with my horses.

I’ve been working in the veterinary field for the past 10 years, and I truly love what I do. I’m a proud dog mom to Yuki and a cat mom to Billy. Outside of work, my greatest joy is being a mom to my son, Sullivan. My family keeps me busy, grounded, and smiling every day. I’m grateful for the experiences and connections I’ve made throughout my veterinary career.

I am a Veterinary Technician here at Baseline. I’ve been in the Veterinary field for 20 plus years because I love animals. I was a chihuahua mom for 25 years and I treat all my fur baby patients like my own. I love Dodgers, going to the movies, the beach and Vegas!

Veterinary Assistant
Brianne has been in the animal industry for 12 years and joined Baseline Animal Hospital in 2019.
She shares her home with her Jack Russell named, Izzy, and her English Bulldog, Fiona.
Estefani
My name is Estefani, and I’m a Certified Veterinary Assistant who started my journey in veterinary medicine as a kennel attendant. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to grow, learn, and work my way around the hospital while taking on new responsibilities. Becoming a Certified Veterinary Assistant has been an important step in my journey and has made me even more passionate about the field. A huge part of my growth has come from the patients and clients who trust me with their pets and allow me to build meaningful connections with them. Every patient I meet and every family I help reminds me why I chose veterinary medicine and continues to teach me something new. Outside of work, I’m lucky enough to come home to my five Sphynx cats, who I absolutely adore and who make every day a little better. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and building my future in veterinary medicine while giving every patient the same love and care I would give my own.
